Repwing vs Gong: which one should you use

Facts about Gong were read from their own pages in August 2026. Check their pricing page for the current figure before making a decision on it.

Which should you choose?

Choose Gong if you are a larger revenue organisation that needs forecasting, deal inspection and analytics across the whole funnel, and you have the budget and the enablement headcount to run it.

Choose Repwing if your problem is the quality of the discovery call itself, you want the rep helped while the call is happening rather than reviewed afterwards, and you want a price you can read on a page.

These are not really substitutes, which is why plenty of teams run both. The question worth asking is where your deals actually leak. If your reps run good discovery and you lack visibility, buy the record. If your pipeline is full of deals where nobody quantified the problem or found out who signs, that damage is done live, and a recording will only tell you about it afterwards.

What Gong does better

Stated plainly, because a comparison page that cannot do this is not worth reading:

Where Repwing is different

The part that surprises people: nothing joins the call

Gong's help documentation says it "typically uses a bot to join these meetings", and that the bot joins Teams meetings as an anonymous attendee. Repwing works differently. Audio is captured on the rep's own machine, by a Chrome extension listening to the call tab or a desktop app listening to system audio. No participant is added, so there is nothing for the prospect to notice and nothing for their IT to approve. Coaching is read on the rep's phone, which is not part of any screen share.

Common questions

What is the difference between Repwing and Gong?

Gong is a revenue intelligence platform that works on the call after it happens. Repwing coaches during the call, sending the next question to the rep's phone while the conversation is still running. They solve different halves of the same problem and a lot of teams run both.

Is Repwing cheaper than Gong?

Gong does not publish pricing, so the honest answer is that it depends on your quote. Repwing publishes its prices: $49 to $129 per seat per month with no platform fee and no annual commitment.

Does Gong join the meeting?

Gong's help documentation says it "typically uses a bot to join these meetings", and that the bot joins Teams meetings as an anonymous attendee. Repwing does not: audio is captured on the rep's own machine by a Chrome extension or a desktop app, so no extra participant appears and nobody has to admit a bot.

Can I use Repwing and Gong together?

Yes, and it is a common setup. Gong keeps the record and the analytics, Repwing changes what happens on the call itself. Repwing does not need to be admitted to the meeting, so it does not conflict with a notetaker that is already there.
